Entrance of Granville Island.
I know, I may be a little ridiculous about this. To be clear, I did not actually dine in here, but I will soon for their lunch! I only got some desserts from their bakery there right at the entrance.
I had a hard time picking them cause they all looked so beautifully done. I actually settled on two desserts, one was given to my brother though. Each pastry was about 3 dollars and something. I would have gladly paid over 7 dollars for each of those if I knew how good they tasted. The only reason why I gave them only a 3 for service was because the girl behind the counter really didn't seem interested in helping me at all when I asked her for recommendations.
I gave the mini lemon meringue pie to my brother, who said it was really really good. I myself had the raspberry mousse. It was adorably done, half a sphere with a glaze of raspberry, dark chocolate swirl, blueberry, and these sweet puffy cookies stuck on the sides. The inside was really creamy, and it really brought out the raspberry taste of the mousse. The bottom layer is a spongy cake that makes the dessert balanced in sweetness. Like the title says, it's like an orgasm in my mouth. If my boyfriend were there, he would probably be jealous cause heck no would I share that with him, maybe just a bite, HAHA.
I will DEFINITELY come back here for desserts. And I will try their lunch menu to see how it goes. I may even see if they sell cakes so I can get one for my birthday!
