Great Wall Mongolian BBQ

Found at 717 Denman Street (and Alberni/West Georgia) area.

Okay. So I work directly across the street from this place, so I've been there a couple of times. A lot of my coworkers are regulars there and eat maybe 2-4 times a week there for lunch and stuff. Often it lasts them for two lunches.

I've been there twice, both during dinner. The people who work there give quick service and are understanding if my coworkers are short of cash sometimes, they just leave a tab and pay extra next time they go in. It's a great deal for the price you pay.

At night, they give you soup, small bowl of fried rice, and these really yummy flaky biscuits. You pick your own foods (noodles, meats, veggies, sauces) with a chart of different flavours you can make with the sauces there. The cook there by the huge round stove? pan? (not sure what to call it) is usually quite friendly.

My boyfriend doesn't really like this place that much, he says it gave him a stomachache last time we went. But I've never had a problem like that and neither have my coworkers.

This place is very filling and gives quick service! Would recommend if you have friends who are picky about what they eat.
