Uncle Fatih

So when I first heard about this place from my coworker, I thought it was spelt Uncle Fattie's.. which would make sense. Would have more of a charm to the place, and quite suitable, cause it's a pizza place. But anyways, it's not. It's Uncle Fatih's, and it's on the corner of Broadway and Commercial. I believe it's actually on Broadway. So you can just hop off the skytrain at Commercial or Broadway and cross the street.

Awesome place to eat because it has great pizza, and this includes all vegetarians. Cause half of the pizza choices here are vegetarian friendly! And when you look at what they have, their pizzas are very colourful, and all their ingredients look super fresh. Also the dough on the pizza isn't that super thin crunch stuff, so it fills you right up. The veggie lover pizza is a definite yum, with spinach on it- yes, it tastes good even with spinach on for the spinach haters. There's Greek pizza even, and roasted chicken if that's how you roll. And they have a bit of sesame on the crust part, not a lot. And they give you ranch sauce and hot sauce that you can drizzle on top of your pizza.

As far as pricing goes, I believe it's $1.75 for a slice, and you can get 2 slices and a pop for $4.00. And it's really filling. Service is quick, and efficient, but with little seating. Beats the Megabite pizza- from the looks of it- right at the bottom of the stairs/escalators of Broadway Station. Uncle Fatih's is now my favourite pizza joint in Vancouver!
