Brown's Social House

This is one of your usual restaurant and bar place. Honestly I don't find it that great. It's in Yaletown. I haven't drank from there.. but it seems more for drinking than for eating really. The pricing is okay, compared to some of the other restaurants around Yaletown area. It's a bit more than your typical Milestone's and Cactus Club pricing. Nothing really special. Kind of wish they would stop putting kind of random things on their menu.. like sushi. The vegetarian burger is decent. Like their fries, yam fries are good too. Don't know if it's just me.. but the waitresses there seem a bit snobby if you're a younger person. Typical setting, much like Martini's on W. Broadway and yeah. Not much of an opinion on it. Maybe if you drink it's more of a place you would go to. Their dessert menu is alright too.

Uncle Fatih

So when I first heard about this place from my coworker, I thought it was spelt Uncle Fattie's.. which would make sense. Would have more of a charm to the place, and quite suitable, cause it's a pizza place. But anyways, it's not. It's Uncle Fatih's, and it's on the corner of Broadway and Commercial. I believe it's actually on Broadway. So you can just hop off the skytrain at Commercial or Broadway and cross the street.

Awesome place to eat because it has great pizza, and this includes all vegetarians. Cause half of the pizza choices here are vegetarian friendly! And when you look at what they have, their pizzas are very colourful, and all their ingredients look super fresh. Also the dough on the pizza isn't that super thin crunch stuff, so it fills you right up. The veggie lover pizza is a definite yum, with spinach on it- yes, it tastes good even with spinach on for the spinach haters. There's Greek pizza even, and roasted chicken if that's how you roll. And they have a bit of sesame on the crust part, not a lot. And they give you ranch sauce and hot sauce that you can drizzle on top of your pizza.

As far as pricing goes, I believe it's $1.75 for a slice, and you can get 2 slices and a pop for $4.00. And it's really filling. Service is quick, and efficient, but with little seating. Beats the Megabite pizza- from the looks of it- right at the bottom of the stairs/escalators of Broadway Station. Uncle Fatih's is now my favourite pizza joint in Vancouver!

BAD: Kingsway Sushi

Been here once, don't wanna go again. Kingsway Sushi is located at the corner of Kingsway and Boundary, in the little plaza where there's also a Starbucks and Bikram Yoga- very awesome place if you want excellent exercise. I don't have much to say about the place, but I think the food is below average, and the service is not that great at all. But I've only been once, maybe that's why? If you beg to differ, let it be, cause that one experience was more than enough for me.
